FAQs

Experience

We do NOT expect you to have any experience with aerial, acrobatics or being upside down. If you do, awesome! Our Intro & open level Classes are suitable for complete adult beginners. If you’re already flying high & want to join our Level 1-3 aerial classes, send us an email.

What to bring

Just bring yourself, good vibes & patience. We have everything you need here.

What to wear

We recommend to keep your knees, arm pits & waist fully clothed for your first few classes. Legging & a t-shirt are perfect. You will not need shoes at Fl’air. We recommend to stay barefoot for all classes.

Cancellation

We have a 24 hour cancellation policy. If you cancel your class in less that 24 hours, we may not be able to fill that spot. Therefore cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will not be refunded.

Waitlist

If you join a waitlist, make sure to keep an eye on your inbox – you will receive an automatic email when a spot becomes available. Be sure to give us a call or email to grab that newly available spot otherwise. You will not be charged for joining a waitlist unless you actually join the class.

Etiquette

  • Arrive on time
Please arrive on time for the class. It is usually not possible to join a class that has already started. Exceptions may be made at the discretion of the instructor. For some classes, such as Aerial Yoga, we close the door at the beginning of the class to avoid disturbances. The obligation to pay the course fee remains unaffected.

  • Check in & say hi
Be sure to check in & say hi at our front desk so we know you are here.

  • Be fresh & clean
We are a space of community and respect. Out of consideration for your fellow members and to ensure a pleasant atmosphere for everyone, please arrive for class with appropriate personal hygiene. Forgot something or need a quick refresh? We’ve got you covered. You’ll find complimentary deodorant and other essentials like tampons in our restroom. Please be mindful that strong odors can be distracting to others and also get absorbed by our equipment, such as mats and aerial silks. If you arrive barefoot, we kindly ask you to wash your feet in our restroom before class begins.

  • Enter quietly
Please enter our studio quietly to not disturb the class before.

  • Phones, Photos & Privacy
Our studio is a sanctuary for you to disconnect from the digital world. To maintain a peaceful environment, please set your phone to silent and keep it with your belongings outside of the practice room. We love that you want to capture your progress, but protecting the privacy of our community is a top priority. For data protection reasons, you must have the clear consent of everyone (including the instructor) before taking photos or videos. To make this easy, our teachers usually grant time for photos at the end of class. Just ask!

  • Be responsible for the energy you bring
Be responsible for the energy you bring into the room & remember that we are in a space where growth, learning & nurturing takes place, this requires a lot of love & patience. Good vibes only!

  • If you need to leave early
If you need to leave class early, please let our instructor know & give them a signal as you leave so they know that everything is ok & that you don’t need assistance.

  • Space for Everyone (And Everything)
To help keep our studio a calm and orderly sanctuary, everything has its designated spot. Please leave your shoes in the entrance area, hang your jacket on the coat rack, and store your bag on the shelves or in the communal changing room. Our seating areas are for you to relax in, so please keep them free of bags and other belongings. This consideration for space extends to after class, too: we ask you to shower & change as quickly as possible so that there is enough space for everyone.
