GRADUATES

What our graduates say

Real experiences from real people.

★★★★★

“It was not about the tricks, but what I really needed was to go back in time and actually remember the struggles so I can understand how I went here where I am to help people get there as well.

I had a lot of insights such as how we as teachers need to think not only about the proper way and techniques, but also all possible ways that might happen and how to fix it.”

Olja
Graduate 2025

★★★★★

“It was fantastic to immerse myself in aerial silk training for an entire week. The experience helped me understand the fundamentals of the sport and gave me the confidence to share my knowledge with others.”

Tanja
Graduate 2025

★★★★★

“The Teacher Training was very useful because, although I have been practising aerial silks for a long time, deepening the basics is essential for teaching. Also, in the course I learned the methodology in a very clear way and everything was very practical.
Keeva is a highly experienced aerial silks practitioner and her teaching flows charmingly. The studio is beautiful and ideal for aerial arts. I absolutely recommend it “

FAQ & Fine Print

Frequently asked Questions

How do I become an aerial silks instructor?

To become a certified aerial silks instructor, you need solid aerial experience plus a teacher training that covers safety, spotting and teaching methods – our Foundation course in Berlin is built exactly for that. It requires at least 2 years of aerial experience, runs as one intensive week and ends with you teaching a real beginner class, after which you receive the Fl'air Studios Instructor Certificate. The Intermediate course (Level 1–2) then prepares you to teach drops and advanced sequences. Both levels are taught by Keeva Treanor, who completed the teacher training programme at the École Nationale de Cirque in Montreal and has more than 12,000 teaching hours.

Do I need to be at an advanced level already?

For the Foundation course you need at least 2 years of aerial experience and solid core movements. Not sure? Write to us – we're happy to assess your readiness together.

Does the course take place in English?

Yes, the course is taught in English. You may however participate in German and complete your assessment in German.

What happens if I need to cancel?

Cancellation is free of charge up to 8 weeks before the course starts. After that, a cancellation fee of 25% applies up to 4 weeks before, 50% up to 2 weeks before, and the full course fee thereafter. You can transfer your spot to another person at any time.

What does a typical course day look like?

The week is intensive: theory and practice alternate, with plenty of feedback rounds and small group work. On the last day you teach a real beginner class – the most exciting moment of the week.

What certification will I receive?

You receive a Fl'air Studios Instructor Certificate – recognised within the European aerial community, documenting your level and training content.
