Aerial Silks Teacher Trainings

With over 40,000 teaching hours in the last 6 years, Fl’air Studios is the leading Aerial Teaching Facility in Germany. Our Aerial silk Teacher Training course is led by Fl’air Studios founder – Keeva Treanor also known by her artists name – Air Candy. Keeva is a passionate certified teacher.
Fl’air Studios sets the bar for safety and aerial technique and is on a mission to raise the standards of Aerial Training in Germany. Our program is meticulously designed to cultivate aerialists into skilled, empathetic, and highly knowledgeable educators.
Our students will graduate with a comprehensive understanding and mastery of aerial techniques, ensuring that instructors are confident, competent, and committed to teaching safely and effectively.
We offer two levels of certification: Beginner Aerial Silks Instructor and Intermediate Aerial Silks Instructor. Upon successful completion of each level, instructors will be certified by Fl’air Studios.

Intro to Silk
Prerequisites
A minimum of 2+ years of aerial experience. First Aid Course is recommended but not necessary before the start of the course.
Teacher Trainees should be comfortable with executing the following movements: French Climb, Russian Climb, classic footknot and various footknot figures, hip key, thigh hitch, straddle inversions, cross back straddle and crochet cross back.
Topics Covered: Aerial Terminology, Warm Up & Cool Down, Conditioning for Aerials, Intro to Silk Syllabus, Spotting Techniques, Teaching Methods, Common Mistakes & how to avoid them, Teaching Ethics, Injury Prevention, Class Planning, Basic Rigging, Teaching Practise with real beginners.

Aerial Silk Intermediates
Level 1-2

Prerequisites
A minimum of 4+ years aerial experience. Has successful graduated Aerial Silk Foundation with Fl’air Studios or has an alternative Teacher Training Certificate for Beginner Level. Has experience teaching aerials at a beginner level. Teacher Trainees should be comfortable and confident with the following movements: Straight arm & leg hip keys and minimum of 1 straight arm inversion, opposite and same side knee hooks, single star drop, and front & back salto drops.
Topics Covered: Advanced Conditioning, Cool downs for nervous system, Level 1+2 Syllabus.
